Even though there are a lot of new releases this weekend, they all are projected to suck, and none of them are going to remotely challenge The Fate Of The Furious for 1st place. Hell, I’m not even sure they … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: ‘Furious’ To Go Unchecked
The short answer is “probably”. Oddly enough, Kong: Skull Island is opening without any competition. I find that odd, considering Beauty and the Beast, which is currently projected to open north of 130M, has at least The Belko Experiment opening … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: Can ‘Kong’ Take Out ‘Logan’?
So here are the 10 films that I graded the highest, that the majority of critics seemed to not like. In order to qualify for this list, the film must have had less than 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. Each film in my top 10 probably would have gotten a Fresh rating, even though my #10 film received a B-.

I haven’t posted my year end list because there are still a few films I’m trying to see. I might not get to see all of them, but I’m giving myself through next weekend (at least) because a bunch of … Continue reading My Year End List (Coming Soon)
Here’s the thing… school is starting to get back in session, and we have some very divisive films leading the box office. Suicide Squad had a huge fall last week, and is bound to drop another +50% this weekend. It … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: No New Films Will Topple ‘Suicide’, ‘Party’
My post last week was pretty popular, so I’ve decided to do this each week until the season (SERIES?) finale. Spoilers ahead. Audrey– Nothing happened that would have changed that there’s no chance she’s a killer this season. 0%. Emma– … Continue reading Scream: Season 2- Who Is The Killer 2
It is very possible that Batman V Superman actually falls to second place in its third frame. The massive decline it had in week two has set it up for failure in week three. Another hefty decline of around 60% … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: ‘Superman’ No Longer ‘The Boss’
Batman Vs Superman will have two factors to fight. The first is that the film is no longer on a Holiday weekend, so inflated grosses are automatically deflated. The second is the reviews, which are bound to catch up to … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: ‘Batman’ Will Drop Hard, ‘God’s Not’ Impressed
These were the films that really stood out to me to have several actors in various roles who were all hitting their marks perfectly. 10) Mad Max: Fury Road Notably: Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Zoe Kravitz, … Continue reading 2015 In Review: Best Ensemble
Anyone who remembers the humble beginnings of Netflix will remember that it was merely an alternative to blockbuster, very few would have imagined that it would have become something that would rival most networks. Like it’s network counterparts Netflix has ventured into original programing. One of these original programs is an absolute gem, A very Murray Christmas. This show takes the tired format of the holiday variety show and turns it on its head by making it a self aware parody in the vein of curb your enthusiasm. Murray plays a forlorn celebrity who is contractually obligated to star in … Continue reading It Came From Netflix: A Very Murray Christmas
This weekend, the only film bold enough to dare to open was In The Heart Of The Sea. It basically sets up for a MASSIVE Star Wars opening next week, as all of the holdovers will be below 10M, with … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: ‘In The Heart’ Of A Disappointing Debut
Sadly, Inside Out won’t get the #1 opening it deserves this weekend, because Jurassic World is a box office juggernaut of unexpected proportions. After slipping past The Avengers to be the #1 opening weekend of All Time, Jurassic World is … Continue reading Box Office Predictions: ‘Jurassic’ Will Stomp You ‘Inside Out’
I’ve been running down the comedy nominees in the past week, and the comedy series nominations are a lot easier to predict (most of the time). The category is narrower, since you can only have one potential nominee from each … Continue reading For Your Consideration: Best Comedy Series
Recently it’s seems as though watching television is becoming a lifestyle. Before Netflix one would watch shows when they came on, now it’s required to binge watch. A lot of these shows are extremely dramatic and less like television shows and more like miniature movies that unfold over an exhausting amount of time, only to lead viewers toward a disappointing cliffhanger. I personally attempted to go with the flow and dabble in these bing worthy programs, however the stoic nature of said programs didn’t do much to hold my attention. Perhaps the stoic nature is in response to our current position … Continue reading It came from Netflix: Danger 5
