Best Buy announced they will no longer be selling physical media after this holiday season. That breaks my heart. I have a massive physical media collection of DVD’s and BluRay’s, and before losing my vision, I used to love to hit up Best Buy on Black Friday, run in and grab a ton of new entries to my collection for cheap. Now, I’m all worried about whether or not something has audio description, which shockingly not every disc does.
12) Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers (Disney Plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
It’s not down here because of quality, but rather the question of watchability. This episode really pulled Zipper out front and center, which would have been great for my childhood, but bad for blind audiences as he’s a non-verbal character, who was buzzing around a lot… but I have no idea what he was doing.
Episode Grade: Unwatchable
11) Hey Dude (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
This episode is mostly about Bradley’s friend coming to the ranch and being a typical snob, though it did feature some odd jokes at Danny’s expense as he’s the Native American cast member.
Episode Grade: C
10) My Adventures With Superman (MAX)
English Audio Description: Yes
Status: Unknown
This show isn’t winning me over. Maybe I was expecting more Harley Quinn, especially given the Adult Swim times Lot, but they really aren’t doing much with it. I think this is TV-PG. I’m perpetually bored.

Carla hits it off with a hockey player, but as part 1 of this two parter would suggest, likely this won’t end the way Carla is hoping.

8) Home Improvement (Hulu)

Tim is worried about his brother taking advantage of their mother’s finances. What happened to the shop teacher she was dating? Continuity in sitcoms is hard, I know. but she’s all alone again.

7) Wilderness (Amazon)
English Audio description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
I’m still pretty tentative on this show. The second episode has our main couple, with their own set of problems, in the middle of nowhere, that suddenly runs into someone from his work? This crazy girl took her boyfriend out to the middle of nowhere to follow the man she’s been sleeping with to stalk them? if I was in the middle of nowhere and ran into someone like this, I would assume they followed me. Of course, it’s the mistress. This show does some interesting things, but not always, and not all of it lands.

6) 6) Foundation (Apple Plus)

Day plans to attack Foundation, and prove his superiority, but not before we get a large flashback sequence and also a look into what is happening on the other planet as Gale is about to be absorbed.

4) All Rise (OWN)

i really enjoyed Lola’s birthday episode, as not only was the main case interesting, but all the dynamics between the characters played out nicely. For example, Lola was mad when she found out Robin told Andre to “stay the fuck away”, but after hearing Robin’s points realized he was right. But the case featured a man and his daughter, which I thought was headed in a very different direction, but landed nicely anyway.

Loofie tries to get his missing crew member (who stole the map and gave it to her real captain), which works out when she’s not shockingly betrayed by a fish man who wants to rid the world of humans. Which begs the question of why the navy was working for him in this episode. Why have a partnership with someone who is trying to kill you?

2) Smash (Roku)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
I know it doesn’t ahve audio description, so I got it up to #2 and stopped. But this episode was bombshell, which was the opening of the show, and Karen having to learn the whole thing quickly. In the real world, she would ahve known this part better as an understudy. but the drama is constantly pushed forward as things happen, and feelings get hurt. Ivy wants to know from Derek, the man who had no problem sleeping with her for months, why it still wasn’t her, even though she knows the whole show, and Karen doesn’t. His answer sucks. And when Anjelica Huston’s assistant threatens while dropping some unfortunate knowledge about their bad behavior, I’m surprised Eileen didn’t tell Rebecca’s people.

1) The Morning Show (Apple Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Renewed
It’s hard to flashback like this.We flashback to Covid, for a Bradley centric episode, as she and her new girlfriend head off to Montana to shoot The morning Show. she talks with her brother, who mentions her Mom, which went exactly where i thought a non-mask wearing mother storyline would go. But what made this interesting was watching Cory’s progress dealing with stuff back at the office, and also that Bradley didn’t choose him, as well as Bradley being there for the January 6th riot. They did attempt to recreate the moment, and put Bradley in a very tough spot as a person. Her choices complicate a lot, and i get that’s why we needed this backstory episode.
