Knocked out some titles today. Here are my thoughts.
7) Saturday Night Live (NBC/Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Aside from a brilliant Cologuard sketch, I wasn’t a fan of most of the rest of the show. I didn’t think Woody’s monologue was funny, that was James Austin Johnson’s least interesting sketch as Trump, and the only other strong thing were some really good zingers during Weekend Update.

6) Animal Control (FOX/Hulu)
English Audio Description?: No
Based on the fact that this show deals a lot with animals that don’t speak, and the havoc they cause, this show is really obnoxious to watch wihtout audio description. I can say for sure, Joel mcHale is a favorite of mine, and he’s bought this show a couple of episodes, but i was struggling here.

5) Truth Be Told (Apple Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
In the third episode, Poppy finds more young girls unwilling to flip on their pimp. Come on girls. One of you is dead. That doesn’t bother you?
Episode Grade: B+
4) Not Dead yet (ABC/Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
This is the youngest sounding narrator I think I’ve ever heard. At first, I was like… which character is saying this? Then I realized it was a new narrator I’d never heard before. This is also the pilot episode, and while the show is fun, I can’t say I feel like I’ve never seen anything like it before.
Episode Grade: B+
3) The Best Man: The Final Chapters (Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
This thing with Lance is fucking with my ability to enjoy this show. All of these characters are some kind of complicated, but he’s like in a different place right now. He’s not complicated, he’s offensive and problematic.
Episode Grade: B+
2) Lockwood and Co. (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Well, we resolved that first mystery rather fast, only to open up into a bigger mystery, and one of the company finishes the episode incapacitated. I’ve liked this show more and more with each episode.

1) Kindred (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
While i swear I was told originally this was a limited series, if there was a way for hulu to give it another season, they should have. The 7th episode, which saw Tom continue to show his true colors (can we please kill him before this series ends?), now has Dana in a very dangerous situation. Can she scare herself back to the present?
