If you are like me, you probably get annoyed when the Emmy voters go unoriginal and either nominate the entire cast of a show, filling up the categories, or they populate it with the cast of Saturday Night live. There are so many strong performances out there, worth shining a light on. Here are ten lovely ladies worth your time.

8) Claire Perkins (The outlaws) Amazon

7) Jessica Gunning (The Outlaws) Amazon

6) Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Ms maisel) Amazon

5) Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott elementary) ABC

4) Bebe Neuwirth (Julia) HBO MAX

3) Shantae Adams (A League of Their Own) Amazon

2) Hannah Ianbinder (Hacks) HBo MAX

1) Janelle James (Abbott Elementary) ABC

I would say 10-6, were all close, as were some that didn’t make this list, like Ana Gasteyer (American Auto) and MJ Rodriguez (loot). But, 6-4 were really close, and 1-3 are basically a tie, with James winning likely based on how I woke up this morning. I’d be happy to have any of those 3 on top.
